Dear Camel Families,

Welcome back to another school year (for our returning Camels) and welcome to our newest Camels. I am honored to serve as principal in the best school district in the state of Kentucky! Much like our physical building, the middle school has undergone a phase of transformation as we have refined our procedures and policies, ensuring that we are aligning with our students' needs and guiding them towards success.

Within our walls, we are fortunate to possess an exceptional staff, the most remarkable students, and a community of supportive parents. Our school's dedication knows no bounds, as we are committed to providing unwavering support to empower students to become the best possible versions of themselves. This commitment extends beyond academic growth and proficiency; we are equally invested in nurturing their development as young adults in our ever-evolving society.

As a reminder, classes will resume on Wednesday, August 16. Students are welcome to be dropped off starting at 6:55am. For those who walk or are picked up by parents, dismissal will be at 2:15pm. Students belonging to 'Wave 1' of buses, residing in the southern part of the county, will also be dismissed at 2:15pm. Meanwhile, students heading home to the northern part of the county and those involved in extracurricular activities, 'Wave 2',  will be dismissed at approximately 2:35pm.

We are delighted to share that breakfast and lunch are offered free of charge to all Campbell County Middle School students. Even if students have breakfast at home, we encourage them to still grab a morning breakfast at school—it's not only free but also provides an additional snack or lunch option.

We look forward to a wonderful year! As always, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Sincerely,

Chris Barwell, Principal, Campbell County Middle School

Go Camels!
